What Are Your Rates?
I have a wide range of packages available to suit your needs, including specialty packages for Graduating Seniors, Boudoir, Bridal, and Engagements. When choosing a photographer, fees are important, but it is more important to invest in someone that you connect with. Picturesque Photography provides highly personalized sessions that focus on you. I will go the extra mile to give you the highest quality images that you and your family will cherish for generations to come.
What's Your Experience?
I have been professionally photographing portraits for 5 years. I have been extensively trained in composition and posing from some of the most experienced and talented photographers in the industry. I firmly believe that we never stop learning. I continually invest in my own education, including new methods, equipment, lighting, posing, and editing so I can provide the highest quality services to my clients.
Do You Specialize in One Type of Photography?
Yes! I am a portrait photographer. Whether that is families, couples, individuals, infants, children, adults, or any combination of these, I have the experience to make your memories magical!
Where Do You Photograph?
Portrait sessions are offered in multiple settings, including in-studio and outdoors. I have relationships with multiple studios in the WV, VA, MD, and southern PA areas, and can recommend numerous of beautiful outdoor settings as well. My travel policies are noted in each of my packages.
How Can I Reserve a Session?
I respond to all forms of communication – phone calls, emails, text messages, carrier pigeons…anything! The best way to reach me is through the Contact page. I will respond to all inquiries within 24 hours. A 50% deposit is required to reserve your date. If your session is outdoors, we will also agree to a back-up dated in case of inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances such as illness or family emergency.
How Many Photos Will I Receive?
Every package has a defined number of images that will be provided. I provide a proof sheet with all available images, and you may choose the ones that you want. Additional photos can be purchased for a small fee.
How Long Will It Take to Receive My Photos?
Depending on the length of your session, images will be provided for proofing within 2-3 weeks. Once images are chosen, they will be posted to your private, online gallery. Your gallery will be limited to those who you wish to have access. From this gallery, you can download your images for your personal use.
Is Photo Editing Provided?
Nothing is more beautiful than you, just as you are. However, I understand the desire to have small imperfections fixed to showcase your best self. Part of the consultation process is a discussion regarding the level of photo editing that you are comfortable with. I will also edit any items that may distract from the overall beauty of your image – a stray clothing tag or a wrinkle in a shirt, etc.
How Do I Prepare for My Session?
Our relationship begins with a consultation to help me understand what type of images you are looking for. We will determine what location is appropriate and we will book the date and time, including a backup date and time in case of inclement weather. Two weeks prior to your session, I will send you a welcome package that includes a customized checklist to help you prepare for your session. I will email you the day before to see if you have any last-minute questions or concern. And, as always, you can contact me at any time if you have any questions.
Do You Provide Hair and/or Makeup?
Hair and makeup services are currently only included in the Sensuous and Sexy Package. However, I have cultivated relationships with local hair/makeup artists that can be added to the session. It is a great add-on when you want to be pampered and treated like royalty!
